New Release Wine Degustation Dinner
Saracen Estates was in the spotlight again on Saturday night 18 July, with a spotlight on the 2006 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon, 2007 Chardonnay and 2006 Shiraz.
A wonderful night of food, wine, music and good times was had by all. Guests braved the rainy weather and joined the Saracen Estates family with Winemaker Bob Cartwright for a taste sensation prepared by Head Chef Mike Dixon.
Butter poached marron with green pea ravioli, venison loin with potato and black truffle millefeuille and an array of gourmet cheeses put the spotlight on local produce, accompanied by the three new release wines. Beer and wine was a well received welcome and the night was enjoyed with Table 27 Jazz Trio setting the perfect musical backdrop.
