An absolute crowd pleasing style of Margaret River Shiraz.
Deep, intense garnet red in colour, the nose has lifted fruit of ripe, dark red cherries, violets and white pepper integrated with American Oak. The palate is mid weight, rich, luschious and again, presents the white pepper character. The palate is soft with gentle tannins and has a clean acid finish, lingering with violet flavour. The wine was in oak for 9 months, 20% new oak with the rest being used oak. This wine is youthful and will benefit from more aging.
It is the ideal match for pasta with a rich tomato based sauce, or venison in any form!
