Consultant Winemaker, Bob Cartwright, when first tasting the 2012 Margaret River Cabernet Sauvignon harvest, believed it to be one of the best produced in the region. He has created another stunning classic Margaret River vintage with this wine which has settled into the bottle nicely.
Dark fruits and savoury flavours on the palate with smooth supple tannins and lots of dried herbs and earth on the finish make this wine a beautiful winter warmer.
Blackberry, bay leaves and tobacco are prominent on the nose with a hint of wet gum leaf perfume wafting in the background. This medium bodied and rich red wine will beautifully complement your favourite steak or any red meat dish for that matter.
